"Language used by staff"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Acute assessment unit Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Clinical assessment unit

(as a relative),

When I was in the waiting at AAU/CAU waiting on my mother in law.

I witnessed what I consider to be disgusting, vile language coming from the staff office. The glass is not soundproof.

One staff member was swearing about work related issues using words such as "f---" and "sh--".

Another staff member didn't try to stop this language being used.

As a professional, I would never use language like that when relatives/public were around.

I find it to be highly unprofessional and should not be tolerated.

This is very disappointing and your absolutely right, this behaviour will not be tolerated anywhere within the organisation. I have spoken with the reception staff and asked them to be vigilant of any members of staff coming into the office and using such language. I absolutely agree with you this is highly unprofessionally and will not be tolerated within our department. Once again I am deeply sorry you were subjected to such behaviour.
