"Manners definitely go a long way"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

After a routine eye test at my opticians I was unexpectedly referred to the eye clinic at Lincoln hospital, I was obviously worried & when I was treated first by the nurse it was short & sharp, no time for niceties (I get they are busy but friendliness costs nothing) I was then shown to the doctor who blatantly seemed to wonder why I had been sent, seemed short & quite curt, failed to find anything wrong and put more than one set of drops in my eyes, all the while making me feel as if was being a nuisance! . . . I was sent away still not sure what if anything is going on with my eye. . hopefully they are correct but manners definitely go a long way - call me old fashioned!

Dear K12,

Thank you for taking time to post this feedback. I'm sorry that you did not have a positive experience in clinic this morning and that you found one of the nurses unhelpful.

I am happy to look into this for you, discuss with the members of the team involved and obtain another appointment for you if you wish?

Should you wish to discuss it further with myself, my phone number is 01522 307294 and my email address is rebecca.perfect@ulh.nhs.uk

Thanks
