"Diabolical service since merging"

About: Berkley Practice

Kingfisher used to be a brilliant Drs, but have continued to go downhill since merging with Berkley. Recently tried to order my prescription to be told I am no longer a patient of there's and haven't been for 4 months as I'm out their catchment area but I have had appointments and prescriptions in those 4 months. Told me they would call me back and haven't. I am 1 mile.closer to that surgery than the next nearest one. The receptionist from Kingfisher were perfect, they remembered your name, were polite, and efficient, now the new ones are none of these. The surgery have messed my 73 yr old parents prescription up for 3 months and sent them double what they need, good job they still know what they're doing and not took them all They have taken the pills back to the chemist who have thrown them all in the bin, and they have a lot of medication, but is the public that is draining the NHS apparently... I was so happy to find the Kingfisher Practice as all the drs are wonderful and had time for you receptionist were brill as I've said. But now they have merged with Berkley Practice they don't care a toss. I will be walking that extra mile to my new surgery thanks and wish every one left at this shambles of a surgery Good Luck

Thank you for your comment; we’re sorry you're disappointed in the Practice.

When a patient informs us that they have moved out of the area, we write out to advise them that they will need to find a new GP. After a month, patients are then removed automatically from the Practice list. I do apologise if you did not receive this notification letter, and for any delays in the removal happening.

With regards to issues with repeat prescription queries or errors, please do ask your parents to contact us at the Practice and we will be very happy to look into this for them.
