Been a registered patient for 9 years, and whereas before you used to wait a long time in surrounded by fellow ill patients in the waiting room, now you wait at home for a third party to give you a phone call (it's called "triage") before you are allowed to come close to a GP. Talk of impersonal service.
I'm seriously worried about how bad it is going to get over the next 2-4 years when more parts of the NHS contracts are awarded to private companies who are in it for the profits not for the quality of care they (could) provide.
Also worth noting that some of the front line staff are just plain rude borderline incompetent. Definitely not in the right job those ones.
