I have had to attend the regional endoscopy unit twice recently. Once for an bronchoscopy and once for a colonoscopy.
On both occasions the staff were fantastic. Very professional and very caring before during and after the procedures.
After the bronchosopy l had a bad reaction to the fentanyl sedative and the nurses were so good in their caring for me during the recovery from the sedatives effects.
During my colonoscopy in November the staff were great especially during the procedure when the nurse gently and kindly chatted to me as the procedure procedure keeping me calm and relaxed throughout.
I would also like to thank A &E and ward 33 staff at the Victoria for their care during the period they were investigating a possible cauda equina in November. The ward staff were great, pretty strict but very caring. What meals l had were very good.
Currently l am attending physio at the Queen Margaret. Again I cannot fault the care given by the staff, attentive and caring whilst being very professional displaying their extensive knowledge.
I have nothing but praise for all the NHS. During my mother’s last few weeks the nursing staff at north tees hospital went above and beyond in the care for mam and us her children.
Many many thanks.
