Do not come here if you are suffering from chronic or even potential life threatening problem. Either way you’ll be left in waiting room with the coughs and colds. Been here since 9am (2pm now) and despite many requests still having even been given pain relief. Or seen a Gastro dr as needed. 5 hours in sitting here in pain, with a bowel stricture, Chron’s pt and all I’ve had done is bloods. Seems so disorganised. Sorry but your smiley happy drs don’t mean squat when your in agony for hours. I’ll have to leave ED, to go somewhere for painkillers soon.

Avoid this A&E ED if you can. I’ve had people with sprains go in for X-rays, despite waiting for one to rule out bowel obstruction. Which is not a minor issue , can be life threatening
