"A huge Thank you to Plaster Room Staff"

I underwent an ankle fusion in October 2019 and the surgery was performed by Mr Kelly and I must say that over the past 15 years he has been very professional, understanding and very informative and supportive of a my injury.  Mr Kelly and his staff have always been very helpful and understanding throughout my visits.

Recently after my ankle fusion I had the pleasure of meeting Mr Waldon and the staff of the plaster room and have had a number of visits to have my leg cast removed and replaced.

I live in a small village in North Dorset and travel to Taunton by rail, our station is so small that you have to stick you hand out for the train driver to stop!

Due to this I have on all occasions arrived at your hospital earlier than my allocated appointments.  I have always been willing to wait as I know how busy your staff are but on every occasion Mr Waldon and his staff have allowed me to have my cast done immediately upon arrival, on one occasion I know they delayed their lunch break.

As a retired Police Officer I know how quickly people are to complain but very infrequently do they thank people for the service they provide.

I would like to express my huge thanks to not just Mr Kelly and his team but please would you pass on my gratitude and thanks to Mr Waldon and his team in the plaster room.  They are a great example of what is good about the NHS and the service they provide.

I just wish that more was done to respect the great work that these people do, If only Senior management and Politicians really understood the great work they provide and stresses that they are under.  

I would like my personal thanks to be passed on to Mr Kelly and his team and also in particular to Mr Waldon and the team in the plaster room.  I do hope that this is done and that my letter is not just filed away.
