I'm 46 and full time employed i have an active job. I have been waiting on an MRI arthrogram since November 2018. My Doctor sent a letter to the Department of orthopaedics and several names are on the letter that i have. I heard nothing till July when i got a letter asking if i still wanted an MRI scan (wished i had kept it) i informed them that yes i still want it and also offered to take any cancellations.
Instead of an MRI letter i got a letter to go for an xray in september 2019 to the Queen Elizabeth where i was informed i had osteoporosis though possible a Labral tear as well due to the restricted movement and pain though they need the MRI results 1st. Nobody can find me on the MRI waiting list. Even after phoning every doctors secretary on my letter nobody can find my details. I have been in contact with my doctor again end of October 2019 who said he would chase it up and expect a phone call from the hospital. Nothing again.
I'm in a great deal of pain and i'm suffering from depression due to pain and discomfort. My mood about the house i have told from my wife is awful and have been to quick to fly off the handle at the slightest thing. My son who is 4 and has autism struggles to understand why some days i can lift him and others i refuse to due to pain. I have been using my holiday allowance up when i cant manage to work which is not helping matters.
I have contacted everybody i can and still no hope of ever getting a MRI scan.
"Waiting time and nobody even contacts me back"
