"So beneficial to my husband"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Cardiology Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Respiratory medicine

(as a service user),

My husband has COPD and heart issues.  He is almost 89 years and not in good health.

We have the cardiac nurse and the respiratory nurse who visit him and they put us in touch with the community therapy service.  Jessica, who is an assistant practitioner, came to see us and I really cannot speak highly enough of the service we received.  Jessica was very sympathetic to my husband's needs, she was knowledgable and professional and the service she has provided i.e. a 3-wheel walker, a rail in the shower, a rail at the top of the stairs (when he gets off the stairlift), a walking stick and a lot of general advice were so beneficial to my husband.  Thank you

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It’s wonderful to know that your husband has been well cared for by the respiratory and cardiac nurses that visit him and that the community therapy service has provided him with all of the necessary equipment and advice needed to make life more comfortable for you both. Your very kind feedback has been shared with the teams.

We wish you and your husband all the best.

Kind regards
Tracey Stevenson, Matron for Respiratory
