"Drug & Alcohol"

About: Inclusion Visions Thurrock (Drug & Alcohol Recovery Service)

(as a service user),

A really nice team. But few staff available outside of volunteers.

Was under service for 6 months for a caseworker. It is his second time but came off and went back as no chance of any rehab.

From feedback cuts have devastated service.

Hello orangeym69

Thank you for your comments about the team I will pass that on.

It would be good to talk to you about your concerns and to understand when you feel staff are not available which would help us identify any possible gaps.

We have had no funding cuts but I understand the belief of that would cause concern. Service Users are assessed for suitability for Rehab as a treatment option and we have referred many to the SHARP Community Rehab. Those that have attended have always given very positive feedback and there have been great successes.

I would be happy to talk to you in person at the service and I would also like to encourage you to have your say at our Service User Forum. Due to Christmas the next one is on January 24th 2020 at 12.00 and is held on a monthly basis. Please come along.

You can contact me on 0300 303 1018

Take care

Emer
