"Treatment was second to none"

About: Good Hope Hospital

I recently had my baby at Good Hope and although my labour didn't go as planned and I ended up with an emergency c section due to a cord prolapse the treatment I received from many midwives, surgeons, registrars was absolutely second to none. They saved my babies life and for that I am eternally grateful to them. Our NHS is amazing and it isn't until you receive such treatment that you realise this. A special mention to ward 4 staff and an eternally grateful special thank you to the team on Labour ward without your hard work and dedication things could have been very different. Thank you also to neonatal team who looked after my baby when I couldn't

Dear Kimberley

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback following your recent experience at Good Hope Hospital maternity unity.

I am so pleased to read that you felt supported throughout and well informed by our staff who do work very hard to ensure a positive patient experience regardless.

I will ensure that your feedback is forwarded to the Unit Manager and their team, who I am sure will be thrilled to read your comments, which I hope is acceptable.

Once again, thank for your feedback and congratulations on the birth of your baby.

Kind regards

Patient Experience Team
