About: Royal Blackburn Hospital

Before during and after my surgery I was treat wonderfully by everyone. I was quite frightened 'on the day' but the reassurance I received was most helpful. I was greatly impressed with the skills and professionalism of everyone. I will never forget the smiles and humour of the anaesthatists as those doors opened and I realised 'this was it!' They were brilliant with me. The next few hours are a bit of a blurr! However, though not quite 'with it' the dedication in Post Operative Care was amazing. Once 'on the ward' the experience of kindness and care continued for several days. I had many late night chats with the nurses which put my mind at ease. Your skills kindness and care will always be remembered. Thank you for everything.
