(as a relative),

This Story is continued on from my previous story, with mum being looked after by me with her terminal condition at home.   I would like to say that weeks on the icst team at Carluke have been very supportive with nurses coming and checking on mum and also the occupational therapist who have helped greatly by supplying equipment that has helped my mum and also helped me care for my mum easier.     Again can’t praise the help and support received.   They are a great team very helpful and a credit to their profession.

Hi one in a million,

Thanks for taking the time to write your post telling people of your experiences with our ICST(integrated community support team). Hopefully others in a similar position will be reassured that there is a lot of excellent care and support out there should they every need it. Having a multi-disciplinary team allows us to pull on the many skills between all the disciplines, without delay, ensuring we maintain a very high standard of care.
