My newborn son was examined and a slight stiffness found in one hip. Apparently very slight, but we were sent an appointment for an ultrasound, which picked up an immaturity of his hip development. Within a week a paediatric physiotherapist visited us at home and gave us thorough, personalised advice on what we could do to help our baby's hip development. A follow-up scan found his hips to be in a normal position.
We are so impressed with how the issue was detected and treated so quickly and efficiently, and by the very professional, helpful and friendly manner of all the staff. In particular how radiology and physio therapy staff worked together to ensure our baby got such speedy and effective treatment. Thank you!
