"Neurostimulator trial at QMC"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Neurology

(as the patient),

Last week I had a neurostimulator fitted for a four-day trial at the Queens medical centre in Nottingham.   It is my last chance to reduce my chronic pain after some major back surgeries in recent years.   The chances of it working for me are not guaranteed and perhaps less than most, but Mr Ingale and the team put every effort into making it a success.   Furthermore, they made the whole experience not only bearable but a happy one.   They really do have the personal touch and hold their patients best interests in the highest regard.   As well as Mr Ingale, Sally (specialist pain nurse) deserves a special mention.
