"Sadly let down"

It's never a pleasant experience attending children's a+e. It's stressful, not least because you want your children to get relief from whatever is the cause of the visit, but you can't give your child a timescale. It's also not pleasant watching your child suffer. Unfortunately, on this occasion, I was not treated with respect nor dignity. I am still left rather confused and hurt by the hostility with which I was met. It has made me feel rather sad, as I used to sing their praises in the past. Manners, respect, and understanding of the differences and diversity that make us all human are clearly in short supply nowadays.

I have had to send in a formal complaint, as at the very least, my son being treated by friendly, caring staff should have been a given.

At all times we were respectful and polite, so I am at a loss to understand why we received such hostility on our visit.
