Following a severe ankle sprain saw my GP and was given a form for an X-Ray to check for a fracture.
Waited less than 15 minutes in X-Ray, very friendly and helpful staff took X-Ray and advised me to wait for doctor to assess.
Ten minutes later was told that X-Ray showed fracture, and was directed to Urgent Care Centre.
After signing in waited about one hour, was then fitted with an ankle boot and given information sheet on follow-up treatment.
Attention throughout was exemplary - although departments were busy, staff were all very helpful and reassuring - lots of smiles.
This applied to everyone - those on receptions desks registering information, and specialists seen later.
I am nearly 70 and have quite a few health problems - am quite apprehensive about hospital!
My daughter accompanied me and she agrees that it was a totally positive experience - we are so very grateful to all concerned for all their hard work, so very much appreciated.
"Wonderful attention "
