I booked a family travel vaccination on 8 November 2019 and was given 22 November 2019 appointment. I arrived on appointment day and was told Nurse was off sick for days and there was nothing they could do to assist. l asked them how come you did not even bother to ring me or my wife just to let us know as we had to pull children out of school that day. To make matters worse, the staff did not even seem bothered about their level of unprofessional conduct considering l was only left with 16 days before my holiday. l still can not understand how such a big GP practice can struggle to cover one sick nurse or they just singled out my family. l am sure the rest of the inconvenienced pre-booked individuals were re-scheduled (SHOCKING)!! Now l am having to travel with my kids without vaccination and who knows if they bring any health issues on return. The reception staff should be serious with their job especially when it comes to communication with patients. So disappointed beyond words!!
