"Fantastic communication skills"

About: Royal Alexandra Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

My mum went to A&E at royal Alexandria hospital for chest pain which was very worrying.  My mum was taken through to a cubicle and seen by Helen who was fantastic and cared for my mum easing her worry. We where then seen by two consultants who examined her and ordered the relevant tests. They both had fantastic communication skills and made a very stressful situation bearable.

I want to thank all the staff for the high level of care and expertise we experienced. You are a credit to the NHS.

Dear Lolli41

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your mum's visit to the Emergency Department. The staff here work really hard to make sure all patients feel that they are well looked after and listened to.

I will pass on your comments to the staff involved and I am pleased they were able to reassure your mum at a time of stress and worry for her.

I hope your mum is recovering well.

Kind Regards

Stephen
