"Always a friendly face and a ready hand to help us"

About: St George's Hospital (Tooting) / Dermatology

(as the patient),

I attended St Georges Hospital, Tooting, for treatment of a malignant melanoma.

I would like to thank all the staff who were involved in my treatment, from the Professor who first saw us in the beginning and all the staff we met in The Rose Centre, St Georges, Tooting, especially the nurses who managed my dressings, the Macmillan nurse, doctors and the receptionists.

Also, we would like to thank the operating department, the ward nurses and doctor where I had an overnight stay and the staff in Nuclear Medicine.

Everyone involved were kind, considerate and professional. We felt we were always treated as individuals and cared for as such, even though we realise we were one of many.

We found the whole hospital to be friendly and happy. Whenever we were lost or unsure, there was always a friendly face and a ready hand to help us, often without asking
