Senior worker Leigh Ann started work with my son he was 16 at the time and he had lost his mother when he was 8 years old, and then his sister died in February 2018. He was full of grief and contemplated suicide it was a cry for help. Leigh Ann met with my son after I referred him and he was assessed within 24 hours I was so grateful.
Leigh Ann worked with him weekly then as time went on it moved to fortnightly. I can’t thank Leigh Ann enough for her care for my son. She was the person who he opens up too and over time he became himself again. I don’t have the words that could do justice to how grateful I am to Leigh Ann and the CAHMS TEAM.
Leigh Ann finished her work with my son in October this year a mutually agreed end. My son has just started work on the building sites and he has a girlfriend. I have no doubts that Leigh Ann saved my son and gave him back to me. I will always be grateful to her. I just want her to know that my son is well and the work she did with him was amazing. Thanks Leigh Ann you're an angel.
xx
