I have helped my totally blind mother in law to use this toilet on several appt visits & each time have found it inadequate. The door swings both ways with no stop so its difficult to find the lock even for a sighted person. The toilet paper is way out of reach when using the toilet & impossible to find for a totally blind elderly lady . This visit the window had been left open on an extremely cold day making it a very unpleasant time. From past experience we are also aware that any conversations made in this toilet can be heard clearly in the corridor outside where there often is visitors waiting for relatives using the other public toilets .I know from helping my mother in law over the years that disabled toilets are never adapted for visually impaired but this is by far the worst one we have experienced & being in the eye clinic must cause many visitors great distress especially if they have no carer with them .
