"Double Jaw Surgery"

I had double jaw surgery on 23/10/19 and I cannot thank the surgical team enough for the amazing job that they did. The whole process will be just under two years and I cannot fault the surgeon for anything during the planning, surgical or post op care.

I would also say how amazing the anaesthetists were prior, during and after my surgery. They gave me all the information I needed and kept me calm before my surgery, they also listened to my sickness concerns and ensured they took additional steps to ensure I did not suffer with this. It took me a while to come out of the anaesthesia and I suffered with panic attacks for which the anaesthetist was still there to help me. Finally, the rest of the staff on recovery were also fantastic, I could not have been better cared for, you really were amazing whilst I wasn't!

I hope that the individuals involved in my care do get to hear this as I think it is important to know how much your care means when you feel as I did coming out of that surgery!
