(as a service user),

My daughter had an operation to remove a growth in her nose that was accidentally discovered during routine operation a few weeks prior.

They discovered a cyst which was drained and removed the growth. The operation took 2 hours so during that time I was anxious and nervous as to what was happening but the surgeon came and explained everything really well.

I know that as a parent this must have been a very worrying time for you and I am glad that the surgeon took the time to explain the procedure to you. I hope you found this reassuring.
