It’s really frustrating seeing a different GP every time you visit, especially with a new long term condition when continuity is important. I’m a nurse so I know what good care looks like and I dislike the fragmentation of care I’ve experienced. However, I visited a GP today who remembered a referral I asked for 3 months ago, and was genuinely interested in how I was doing. We had a really good talk about everything. I had such a positive experience with this GP - I wish they were all like this. But she’s restored my confidence in primary care. And the receptionist staff have been really helpful too.
Last good comment is the Patient Access online app I’ve recently signed up for is excellent. I love being able to see my records and results, book appointments etc.
