"Fractured Elbow - 2 to 3 months and not fixed"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

Fractured left elbow September - xray then CT Scan, confirmed a common comminuted of capitellum with articular surface flipped up in the radiocapitellar joint. After much discussion between doctors - one doctor says I will need surgery to remove bits of bone, another suggests physio only. Letter; can only flex elbow 30-90 degrees and worried about a mechanical block.

CT Scan done - a cast was not mentioned, my GP very surprised when I showed him picture of my broken elbow. Said he would follow it up and today received letter to book a physio appointment.

Physio is not going to heal an elbow with bits of bone still loose. Last conversation with one doctor; have surgery to remove bone fragments. I can feel the bones inside grating against each other.

Won't be available for surgery until start of December. Have not had consistent advice since this whole thing started.
