Couldn't Fault the care of my Son after he choked on food and required an overnight stay and operation . Staff Nurse extremely attentive on the ward .
Experience only marred by the PCN from TPS carparking after paying 12quid and not being informed of the £3.60 scratch card option presumably because we came in via A&E late at night and not the front desk where they give them out .
Having spent 9 years attending Oncology and paying my way, not incurring a parking ticket ever , then it feels quite bad. The NHS should not be letting private companies run their car parks. Southmead hospital has terrible issues with these as well . Given they make around 500K a year at BRI from these schemes, then it would be lovely to see that money going into health care and not the pockets of con merchants . Have an option to pay the fine to the Above and beyond charity . Id rather give them the cash than a parking firm .
