"Great care"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Acute Receiving Unit (Units 1-5)

(as a relative),

I was given this website to provide feedback to the wards - and I feel I owe it to the staff this public gratitude! my father was admitted after a fall at home and was quickly assessed by the ARU team before being transferred to Ward 2 A. The care throughout was fantastic (I think my father was rather sad to be leaving! ) but the care and attention he received was second to none. I cannot thank Dr Reeves and senior nurse Robyne & their team for getting my father back to his feet and home with us again.

Dear Magaplum

Thank you so much for providing this feedback expressing your gratitude's to the care your father received in the ARU and ward 2A. I have recently undertaken some work exploring patient experiences in this ward and what you have described had been my findings. It is a testament to the nursing staff under the direction of the Senior Charge Nurse Robyne and the medical staff. I am so delighted that you have posted your praise for such a wonderful unit, who strive to put patients first and foremost.

I hope that your father is doing well.

Very best wishes

Sheila
