"Daycare surgery"

Day care surgery nurses do a fantastic job, so do the drs. What I was not impressed with was the receptionist who was rude did not let my wife come & sit with me as I was anxious & she was made to sit outside. I had come to the ward day before & had no problem & last minute surgery was cancelled & was told to come bk following morning. Had driven here for 7.30 & then at the door even before I had walked in she started & when I was wheeled out to theatre at 9 my wife was sat outside also my consent form was lost & had to sign another one. Was having a big op & the behaviour of this receptionists was unacceptable....
