As I currently write this I am awaiting my IDL from ARU 1, I am a registered nurse here in the QEUH who unfortunately took unwell during a shift, the kindness and compassion given to me by the night team coordinators, the triage nurse in A& E, the porters, X-ray team, My A& E nurse Fin, every doctor I met in A& E and ARU 1 and every auxiliary and staff nurse in both arenas treated me with the upmost of respect and care, as strange as it was to being to patient instead of my usual nurse role they listened and comforted me whilst treating me. To everyone I incountered thank you, you have reminded me that I really am in the most rewarding job. I am very greatful for the level of care provided to me and the laughs that kept me going through my admission.
