My disabled mother is in a wheelchair attended appointment for injection in knee, arrived to be told they weren't qualified enough to do this due to medication she was on. They asked her if she was able to get onto the bed, she said it would take a few minutes. Then receives letter to say she refused this at the time, utter nonsence she did not. Also know someone else who has had the same problem with Connect Physios. My mother is now going to her own GP building this week for the injection. Shame connect don't know where to send people to get the right treatment in the first place. I'm sure she is not the only 86 year old that is being treated like this, it's appauling. This needs to be returned back to the GP's themselves to refer people, then they would end up in the right place to start with, as years gone bye. I understand that the contract is due for renewal shortly, lets hope the NHS come to their senses and don't renew. If they do then more training is required, and not to send letters out to say people have refused when they haven't.
"No very good service"
