"7 Hour call back"

My throat closed up. Trouble swallowing. Drooling etc. My wife called. Was promised a callback within two hours. 7hrs later.......

We went to Walk in centre 14 miles away, waited two hours, drove back and still beat the phone call back. I get it that if I was so bad I couldn’t breathe it should be a 999 call but I was sure it was tonsillitis. Tried self meds. Just needed help. NHS is in trouble
