"Disgusting dnt join"

About: Railway Medical Group

I have had nothing but problems with not only trying to see a doctor but getting my meds on repeat. I went a good few months back because i self harm as I have cfs/me/fibro. I was put on anti depressant and told to go back 4 weeks later tried to make a appointment after I saw the doctor sorry cnt do phone up on day. My husband tried to get an appointment for me but nothing. He mentioned I need more meds nothing only a rude receptionist. Problem I had no more antidepressants I went into with drawl and self harming again. Hubby phoned up again no appointments. I phoned up nothing I evemn told them I was self harming nothing. Told to go to accident and emergancy. I could not get a appointment for another 3 weeks but tht was not with my usual doctor.

Anothrt problem and they have a bad reputation for this. You asked for your meds and you can guarantee something important is missing. They also tell lies. I asked for some everol conti. I checked with many chemists to see if they could get hold of it. Yes they could ordered a few other items only the few others came. I phoned up a young guy told me they hadn’t put it through as they couldn’t find a chemist who could supply it. This young man often gets my prescriptions wrong. He told me to try something else ermm no I want my patches he then said he had phoned around and could find no supplies. I called him a liar as I had checked the day before if they could get them in or have them. He said he will try again. Funny he found somewere. I got 9 months supply of the patches as other prescriptions had been sent out to chemists. I am a self harmer they have no sympathy no nothing. Receptionists are rude. Cannot get an appointment even my hubby has probs and he suffers with CLL. I am seriously thinking about changing doctors I would not recommend them due to receptionists and the ones who deal with prescriptions. I did put a new prescription through last week and items were added I did not require no more said.

Thank you for posting. I am sorry you have clearly had issues getting your prescriptions. Assuming the patches mentioned where HRT, I am afraid we have had considerable problems sourcing these due to a national shortage which has caused considerable disruption. I am very sorry that you have been caught up in this.

We are aware the appointment system is creaking and we are trying to set up a system where you will get priority in seeing your usual GP. We have been piloting this with 2 GPs initially but plan to roll this out to all very shortly.

Thank you for taking the time to post.
