(as a parent/guardian),

I am registered with the park view Gp on Reed Road Dagenham and it’s very sad that I have felt that the children’s doctor has been cold hearted and acted as if they are doing a favour on the patients. Being a mum for the first time I have found this a nightmare to me and my baby. This doctor has been mean and if I ask about my baby's health, they act as if I asked a stupid question. I have found one member of staff in the reception area unprofessional and to have acted in a racist way.

I am really sorry that you felt you had to post this story.

If you would like to contact the practice I will be able to discuss this further with you. You do not mention which doctor you are referring to and this makes it difficult to investigate.


It is always our practice to re-assure and accommodate new baby's.

I believe I was the last member of staff you spoke to regarding your baby I answered your request and advised you I would check the details I had given you with the doctor because you seemed concerned. This I did and on the same day I sent you a text message to say the doctor had confirmed what I had told you was correct. I felt this was re-assuring for you.


I can confirm that many of our patients come from different ethnic backgrounds, and racism is not practiced here. I am sorry if you felt this and wonder if there is anything that we can do to assure you for the future.
