" Absurd"

My father was admitted to Musgrove park hospital 10 days ago with abdominal bleeding the source of which could not be identified. He was booked for a PET scan which was cancelled 4 times. The 4 th time we were told it was because he was an inpatient and if he went home they would scan him as an outpatient. He’s bleeding, needing blood transfusions, the consultant has requested the scan. How can this company refuse the request. Absurd.
