"Outstanding compassionate ward"

About: Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Ward 18 is an amazing,well lead ward, I arrived in acute pain worried sick with my symptoms, I was treated amazingly and left with complete confidence and reasured I would be kept an eye on, one head sister stayed an hour after she should of finished to sort my pain relief, I have nothing but praise for this big team amazing staff.

Thank you for this lovely feedback about Ward 18. I’m pleased you were treated compassionately and to a high standard during your stay in our hospital. It’s fantastic to read how a member of staff went the extra mile for you to ensure you were comfortable and settled before she finished her shift.
