"Nothing was too much trouble"

About: University Hospital Monklands / General Medicine (Wards 2,10,12 and 17)

(as a service user),

I was admitted to Monklands hospital in the early hours of the morning. After 24 hours of tests I was diagnosed with meningitis. Eventually a bed was found for me on ward 2. The staff on this ward could not do enough for me, nothing was too much trouble. They certainly go above and beyond what is expected.   After 6 days I was discharged. I just want to thank each and everyone of the staff for my care during my stay, a thank you just doesnt seem to express my gratitude.

Dear Dycebabe

Thank you so much for your very kind posting on Care Opinion. I am delighted that the care you received in Ward 2 was so positive. To hear that staff could not do enough for you and went above and beyond fills me with great pride. This is the care we strive to deliver to all our patients every day and the staff will be delighted with your feedback.

As the Senor Nurse for Ward 2, I will ensure that all staff are aware of your post.

I hope you are on the mend now and wish you all the very best.

Kind regards

Eileen
