"The team were all so supportive"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Paediatric Surgery University Hospital Ayr / Paediatric Surgery

(as a parent/guardian),

My 11 year old son had a detatched retina. He had surgery in Crosshouse in May he had 2 operations there & a further 3 in ayr hospital we couldn’t have got through this time without the support of Fiona, who went above beyond to help us deal with it. She was fantastic with our son who was very nervous.

When the operations were done in Ayr hospital, because he was a child there was a team from Crosshouse present they were amazing Fiona, Tammy, Lee, Dr Geary & Dr Anderson who were all so supportive they are amazing at what they do & my son got to know them so he felt relaxed. We are still attending Dr Koshy clinic & hopefully things will start to improve soon but without the amazing team from Crosshouse the difficult time my son is going through would have been a lot worse so thank you all from the bottom of our hearts 😀

Dear T w

Thank you for your wonderful feedback at what has been a difficult time for you. I am delighted to hear that the care you received helped support you and your son and that he had his surgery and it was successful.

I hope he is making a full recovery and will pass your message to the team involved.

best wishes

Attica
