About: New Victoria Hospital / Day surgery

(as the patient),

Went in for day surgery to have my gallbladder removed after 2 years of suffering. From start to finish the staff were amazing. My check in nurse Elaine made me feel at ease and explained what would happen. Mr Hair who was doing my operation was a lovely man took the time to explain what would be happening and even came back to see me after surgery. Unfortunately I had to stay in overnight as the surgery lasted longer than normal and I was in quite a bit of pain to be discharged. The nurse on ward 3 were fantastic and made sure I was comfortable.
