"I would like everyone to know how fantastic this ward is"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / General Surgery

(as the patient),

I recently had a longer than usual stay in hospital. As I suffer from short bowel syndrome I am normally in just overnight for a fluid iv. In September this year I was admitted for a couple of weeks for preparation for my gallbladder removal.

I was in Ward 206 and would like everyone to know just how fantastic this ward is, no matter how busy the nurses were they never made you feel that you were a bother, so friendly and caring.

Special thanks to Emily, Alison, Alva & Rachel you are all stars and made my time in hospital so much easier.

The nhs always gets a rough time but I have been in Ward 104 & 206 and think your all great.

Dear Yh73

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback regarding your admissions to ward 206 and ward 104. The teams will be delighted to read your kind comments about the care and their friendly attitude and I will share this with them.

I hope you have made a good recovery after your surgery and feeling much better.

With thanks and kind regards

Fiona Robertson

Chief Nurse
