I was admitted to the western general august to prepare for operation on my neck. C6 / C7 cervical spinal cord milopathy. Had my operation in august. everyone one in the NHS were fantastic.
They took good care of me from the nurses to Mr Liaquat, Mr Kilpatrick to the registrar to the anaesthetist. Everyone was fantastic. After operation I got transferred to the Victoria hospital for physiotherapy. They were also fantastic. I was in the Victoria hospital from the Friday to the Tuesday. When I was discharged I was at home for a few weeks then I had visits from health visitors & occupational therapists. after that I went to Whitefield day centre for 6 months for rehabilitation where all the staff were also fantastic with me. So that was my journey with the NHS. I hope this is put on the website for all the NHS staff who took care of me.
thank you to everyone at NHS
