"The treatment received has been excellent"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Elderly Medicine (Wards 51, 52, 54,55, 57, 8a & 2a)

(as a relative),

My 91 year old mum was admitted to acute receiving ward 4 at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Govan and the treatment she has received has been excellent. I am going through cancer treatment and therefore restricted as to when I can visit but I have been kept informed as to what is happening with her and the kindness shown to her by the nursing staff in a very busy hospital has given me peace of mind. Thank You.

Dear topol

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a lovely post directed to the care that your mum has received and that you were kept informed and up to date. I can only imagine that it has been a worrying time for you particularly as you are currently undergoing treatment, I am so pleased that my fellow nursing and medical colleagues had given you peace of mind looking after your mum and keeping you informed. I shall be delighted to pass on your heartfelt comments to all concerned.

I would like to take this opportunity in wishing you all the very best whilst undergoing your treatment and hope that your mum is progressing.

Many thanks once again and both take care.

Best wishes

Sheila
