"No empathy "

I have been in and out of numerous hospitals over the past 8 years and seen a number of different dermatologists, after being passed from pillar to post with no clear diagnosis of my skin condition it was finally agreed after putting across all of my issues that I had a number of lesions on my nose removed which funding on the NHS was approved for, when attending the clinic for my procedure, the plastic surgeon that was to perform the procedure was extremely abrupt and quite rude and had a terrible bedside manner so to say when in this profession and dealing with patients should be a lot more considerate and empathetic towards the patients feelings, she only removed one of the lesions and said this was all she was able to do as this was what was directed and wasn’t particularly polite in the way she addressed myself or my mother who attended with me who is also a fully qualified nurse. There have clearly been communication issues between a number of departments within the NHS and should have been addressed in a completely different manner, I was extremely upset after my experience last week as I felt I was made to feel bad for what I’ve been through after all of these years having developed some sort of condition with my skin that I still do not have 100% clarification of and what seems to be merely ‘guesses’ based on the number of people I have seen over the years.
