"An Outstanding Experience"

I have been having treatment for prostate cancer over the last 18 months at Hereford County Hospital and throughout the entire time the treatment, professionalism and empathy I have encountered from every member of staff with whom I have had dealings, both medical and administrative, has been faultless - indeed outstanding.

I have written individually to both my Oncologist and my Urologist to express my thanks and appreciation of themselves and their staff, with copies to both the Chairman and the Chief Executive of the Wye Valley NHS Trust.

The NHS frequently receives a bad press and it is therefore, in direct contradiction of this, a great pleasure for me to write this review in praise of my local hospital and its staff.
