"Went out of their way to accomodate us"

About: Galloway Community Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

Attended with my son while visiting the area after he managed to drink some kitchen cleaner.  Staff were approachable and friendly. They also went above and beyond when we went to the dining room to have something to eat I tried to pay to be told that the bill had been taken care of! I insisted on covering it myself but this gesture completely blew me away as I've sat in A&E as a parent for hours on end and never been offered anything like that before. The dining room staff then went and got my son an ice pole as that was all he wanted to eat. Again staff went out of their way to accommodate us.

Hospital also spotlessly clean.

Dear HIP,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. I am pleased to hear that you were both well looked after. I will forward your feedback to the teams at the Galloway Community Hospital and I am sure that they will be delighted with your kind words.

I hope that your son is on the mend and that you managed to enjoy the rest of your time in the area.

Best wishes,

Annette
