Recently attended Day Surgery for an awake procedure. The theatre team communicated excellently throughout the procedure, providing reassurance and ensuring I was okay throughout. Great team work. Thanks

Dear cazlina,

Thank you for taking time to share this with us. It is delightful to hear how reassuring and comforting this must have been. Having any procedure must be scary but for most folk, being awake adds a whole new dimension.

As a Radiographer in a previous life and being very nosy, I would generally prefer to be awake and see what is going on, but I am sure that is not the norm.

I will pass your kind words to the team and I am sure it will make their day.
