"Tameside General Hospital A+E Staff were incredible today"

About: Tameside General Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I fainted at home following a bad fall on my coccyx and ended up needing 12 stitches in my head.

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff who dealt with me today. They were a credit to the NHS.

The nurse who chatted to me and helped me call a taxi and the x ray reception lady who even offered me her strawberries bless her were so so lovely to me. Alex put me at ease when doing the ecg as did the radiographer doing the x ray. The doctor who did the local and stitches was amazing. Sorry I did not catch all your names but you really made a difference. I really appreciate all your efforts.

Also many thanks to the volunteer John for making me a drink.
