"Sheer professionalism of the best caring kind"

After an exciting encounter between my finger and a hedge-trimmer, I was most impressed by all aspects of the A&E department at Gloucester Royal Hospital, from reception, through triage, x-Ray and, most particularly by my treatment by the Nurse Practitioner I saw. Her skill, calm efficiency, and good-humoured attitude to what seemed to my non-medical eye to be a fairly demanding stitch-up job was everything that one would expect from a first-rate NHS facility. I cannot speak highly enough of this fine professional lady - even if I didn't get an "I've been a brave boy" badge! She was half-way through a 12-hour shift but radiated confidence and assuredness in all she did. Thank you!
