I don't usually leave reviews but felt I needed to share the recent experience I have had at the surgery as I'm aware locally there has been a lot of noise about appointments and changes from two surgeries to one. I've lived with a heart condition and heart failure for a long time so have to attend the surgery a lot. The care and help I've had has always been second to none and continues to be. More recently I attended worried I'd got cancer. The GP listened to me and had the right tests which diagnosed me with prostrate cancer. This has been hard to take on. This all happened in the space of two weeks from seeing my GP to having the tests at the QMC. Amazing. I then became ill with sepsis soon after my biopsy. In the space of several hours I went from well to being seriously unwell. The Drs were straight on the case and probably saved my life getting me into hospital fr life saving antibiotics. I'm better now but facing radiotherapy and having injections. The Drs and staff have been amazing. It has been a really stressful few months but the surgery have probably saved my life and for that I can but say thanks - also from my family who are looking forward to me being around for many more years now ive had treatment.
