This is a big thank you to everyone for their care and attention during my visit to North Devon District Hospital. I attended the Day Surgery Unit for a hernia repair and I feel the care I was given was wonderful. 

I particularly appreciated my surgeons expertise and willingness to discuss my surgery well in advance of the operation. I also really liked seeing my surgeon and anaesthetist in the day ward prior to going into theatre. The stream of nurses ever patient, attentive and gentle (despite my slightly prolonged recovery) were wonderful.  So thank you again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us and I am pleased you received excellent care and that your hernia repair surgery went well.

It is good to know that you were kept informed and reassured throughout your pathway. I am sorry you had a slightly prolonged recovery and hope you are now starting to feel better.
